Chad Erickson

I am the owner of Cropping Central LLC. I graduated from UW-River Falls in May 2000 with a BS in Ag Business and an Agronomy Minor. I was raised north east of Wausau on an 80-cow dairy operation. I worked 8 years at a local Ag retailer in agronomy sales and then started Cropping Central LLC in October 2008. I have sold Pioneer Seed since 2002 and crop insurance since 2007. I maintain a Certified Crop Advisor Status (CCA). I do cash crop some, growing corn and beans mostly, with an additional 5 acres of pumpkins that my family sells by the roadside. I have been very involved with Farm Bureau since 2000, serving as Marathon County Young Farmer Chair for 8 years, District 8 Young Farmer Chair on the State Board, served as Marathon County Farm Bureau Vice President and Director from 2008 to 2017. I am married to Kelly and have two kids, Ashley and Preston. In my free time I enjoy watching my kids sporting events, hunting and enjoying life. I love the people we work with every day in this great industry.
